This is not the photo I planned on taking. I’m certainly not a shirtless selfie guy, but I just finished a work out, took my t-shirt off before showering and caught myself in the bathroom mirror. And I thought, I am a living miracle. I’m 53 years old, living with HIV for coming on 18 years, undetectable viral load (U=U, baby!), strong, healthy. I am a sober alcoholic in recovery for over 11 years. I have a family and an amazing group of friends that I love and work that is creative and challenging. I am so grateful.
And dammit, I look sexy as hell!
