I’ll be turning 54 in just about two weeks, and I’ve been living with HIV for nearly half of those years. And as a long-term survivor, I start every morning with a few cups of coffee and some precious alone time—time to check up on the news and social media, time to listen to music, time to watch the sunrise, and time just to think. It’s valuable time I take just for myself.
