Today is a day when people with HIV are uploading their photos to help stop the stigma when it comes to HIV, and to be featured on a slideshow that will play with all of our pictures, for an anti-stigma campaign. So I thought I’d participate. I was diagnosed with HIV in 2019, and I contracted it from my partner at the time. I took this photo this evening. What inspired me to take it is that I am happy my T cells have come up. Recently I was close to having AIDS. This photo was taken in my backyard. 💪🏻 I’m just happy, and thankful to be alive. 💙
