At age 27 the thought was I would be dead within a few years. That was 1986 when I found out I was positive. Here it is 2021, I’m 62, and I’m preparing for retirement. Through disability, with full blown AIDS in 1996, i fought to stay alive and not letting fear rule my life, I got healthy and reentered the workforce. I strive to live life fully, for myself and for those who didn’t have this opportunity. Today, I cherish the moments when I can help others make their day a little better.
