Long-term survivor since early 1990. So much has changed since being given six months to live. Today, tomorrow, each day is different. If it didn’t happen to me, I don’t know where I’d be. HIV has forced me to change my life. I have been lucky to have a great health care team throughout my years of being positive. I live to the fullest every day to be happy, and am loved by family, friends, and my husband. It’s made me become a stronger person each day. Undetectable over 25 years and will keep it that way.
